The Chilly Petting Zoo

We went to the petting zoo they had set up by our house that included baby goats, chickens, llamas, and other small barnyard animals. Then of course Emily had to go on a pony ride - her pony's name was "Sparky". : )
It was chilly out so we had to bundle up pretty tight. Sorry, no pictures of Derek in this one - he was snuggled in his car seat staying nice and toasty.

Hangin' out at Grandma and Grandpa's

We ended up heading over to Grandma and Grandpa's house on Saturday to have some fun after all this grey weather and rain. We were lucky enough to get to spend some time with the other Auntie Jen, Uncle Mark, Cousin Hayley, Auntie Jenni, Uncle Kevin AND RUBY!!! We also had to fill everyone in on the wonderful time we had at the circus! Emily even showed Ruby how to paint and gave lessons to Derek on how to crawl. She was a big helper!
On Sunday Grandma and Grandpa came over to visit us at OUR house! Emily had a lot to show Grandma in her room. She had a great time telling Grandpa how to get the job done as he was working in our kitchen. It was SO funny!! Then mommy and Emmy made chocolate chip muffin cookies (as Emily calls them - they're actually just chocolate chip muffins but she couldn't understand my description of what a muffin was so she just kept calling them "muffin cookies").
