Visit with Santa

I don't think either one of them were big fan's of this guy. As soon as he gave her a coloring book and some crayons, you would have guessed that her and Santa had been best buds for years - unfortunately that was after the photo was taken.

Here's the official "Photo with Santa". Emily was standing in line so excited to see Santa, the closer we got to him, you could see the excitement slowly disappearing from her face. By the time she actually got on Santa's knee, the happy smile she was planning on showing Santa was replaced with the biggest sad lip you have ever seen. The best part was when she looked as Santa (with the big lip) and said, "Merry Christmas Santa". She looked like she was going to start crying at any minute. I'm sure she was thinking, "Thank God Christmas only comes once a year!" That is until she starts unwrapping all of her treasures on Christmas eve. She's not going to know what hit her! We're all waiting to hear, "Ruby/Derek don't want that". She's always willing to take toys off of their hands like any other loving cousin/sister would be.
