Well........

We had our Dr's appt last night - if you can call it that. When we got to the clinic, we checked in and waited in the waiting room for the Dr. When we got back into the room, the Dr came in and asked us how our ultrasound went. We looked at each other, then looked at the Dr and said, "That's what we're here for today!" He quickly informed us that they don't perform ultrasounds at this particular clinic. He thought we must have already had it the week before and that we were just in for our regular check up. He said that our chart did indicate that we were there for an ultrasound but that he was unable to perform one considering the fact that they don't even have an ultrasound machine at that location. We were beyond disappointed that we now have to wait another five more days to get in for our appointment when all other ultrasounds are typically performed at the 19-20 week mark (we will be almost 26 weeks pregnant by our appt). The Dr. did apologize on behalf of the receptionists that made the error when scheduling our appointment, he even went so far to draw us a picture of the baby in utero. I think he was trying to lighten the situation but, I was not amused by the picture. : ) Well, enough of that!! Long story short - we have an ACTUAL ultrasound appointment on Tuesday April 4th at 10:30 am. Check back on Wednesday morning for more baby updates at that time!! We'll get there eventually!! : ) Either that or I'll just go into labor! : )
